Mass Effect Replica Normandy Ship for the Astro-Hunk on a Budget

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite replica Normany on the internet.
Everyone can agree that the Mass Effect video game series is amazing. Part of the amaze is Commander Shepard's residency and battle cruiser, the SSV Normandy. And yet, though several licensed ME figures have seen release, there has been no official replica of the sleek ol' girl. Until now.

Dark Horse, who also puts out the Mass Effect comic books, is currently prepping a miniature replica version for retail. The Systems Alliance starship measures up at 6 1/4 inches long, which is perfect for desktop display and/or your Mass Effect-themed flea circus.

To be specific, this model is of the Normandy SR-2, the ship that replaces the original Normandy that blows up at the beginning of Mass Effect 2. I'm sure one of you will explain this to me, but doesn't this ship look a lot different than the one in the game?

To pre-order, head over to Entertainment Earth and give them your $34.99.  Orders should ship in November, provided the release isn't delayed to coincide with the Mass Effect 3 delayed release. On that topic, BioWare, take all the time in the world. We wouldn't want you to Dragon Age II it or anything.
