 TV hottie Patrick Dempsey is in his fourth full season of driving in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, but just like NASCAR drivers, he apparently has his share of bad days.

According to E! Online, Dempsey was involved in a wreck at Virginia International Raceway on Friday, after another car plowed into his No. 40 RX-8 during a practice run. The actor was uninjured, but his car reportedly wasn't as lucky, needing major front end and radiator repairs.

According to the Dempsey Racing website, Dempsey co-drives with teammate and business partner Joe Foster, and the two have been racing together for seven years. Back in January the pair and two other teammates finished a career-best third in the Rolex 24 At Daytona International Speedway. All four drivers led the race, including a career-high 28 laps led for Dempsey.
