Mansion autopsy show delayed
The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office determined that Zahau, who was found hanging from a balcony in Shacknai's mansion Coronado California had committed suicide. her family says zahau family not suicide. The "Dr. Phil" television show that will release the results of a second autopsy performed on Rebecca Zahau following her hanging death will air in two parts on Monday and Tuesday, rather than on Thursday as originally scheduled, a spokeswoman said.
According to Sign On San Diego, the episodes were taped Tuesday in Los Angeles with Zahau's family and their attorney, Anne Bremner.
Bremner said the doctor hired to perform the second autopsy, Dr. Cyril Wecht, released the findings on the show.
She said that two shows were needed due to the complexity of the case, and that the taping was a positive experience for the Zahau family.
Zahau's death at the historic Spreckels mansion in Coronado has been questioned ever since the San Diego County Medical Examiner declared Zahau hanged herself on July 13.
The Sheriff's Department said no new evidence has been found that would compel them to reopen the investigation.
