Not Too Over-The-Top Christmas Sweaters

Not Too Over-The-Top Christmas Sweaters

It's almost Christmas, y'all! *looks at calendar* WAIT, IT'S LITERALLY THIS WEEKEND. Sheesh, time is flying by! Well, we better get our holiday ensembles in check, and what's an easier way to get festive than with a themed sweater? It instantly transforms any outfit into a party-ready ensemble! Butttt we have to make a disclaimer. Some  Christmas sweaters are ugly. Like, really, really ugly. And unless you're ACTUALLY going to an ugly Christmas sweater party, you probably shouldn't sport one of those bad boys in public. Luckily, we found some 'dorbs bloggers who wore holiday-themed knits in the most subtle of ways. Let's find out how to cop their look!

Hillary Boles of Mammal & Lamb
Portland-based blogger Hillary sported a green and white vintage grandpa cardigan with a '90s Gap button-up shirt tucked into J. Crew thermal pants. For accessories, she sported a screenprinted tote and black oxfords for a comfy-chic approach to the whole holidaywear tradition. By the way, we're kiinnnndd of in love with her beautiful photos and outdoorsy approach to fashion. Plus, she recently cut her hair into a bob, and now we're SUPER smitten.

Stefanie Kuncman of Steffys Pros and Cons
Steffy hails from Florida, and, um, we just really want to be her. Her blog is filled with photo after photo of amazing vintage ensembles that'll make you want to run to your nearest thrift shop immediately. For her Christmas ensemble, she wore a vintage red and white printed snowflake sweater with a vintage white button-up shirt, cuffed skinny jeans, a black bowler hat, sky blue socks, strappy white platforms, and a brown leather mini backpack. Her range of accessories PLUS the side pony make this entire outfit cute to boot!

Daniella Robins of Lella Victoria
U.K. blogger Daniella is all SORTS of amazing. Her outfits literally will make your jaw drop because she's always mixing patterns, playing with textures, and trying new looks. To celebrate the holidays, she wore a strong-shouldered Topshop white and gray Christmas sweater with cropped navy Whistles trousers and platform Mary Janes. She wore a statement necklace and ring for a glam but still classic look that could transition straight from a family dinner into a friend's holiday party.
