American Apparel caves to plus-size satirist
After rejecting her modeling contest win, American Apparel has agreed to meet with a plus-size woman who says she has some words of advice for the clothing retailer.Nancy Upton, 24, told Fox411 that the company invited her to tour the factory and meet with some creative directors "to discuss what happened with the contest and have a dialogue about advertising to a different demographic."
