"She loved those bangles for a long time," said the bracelets' designer, Lorraine Schwartz. "She bought them because they're Elizabeth's." In fact, the reality star loved the baubles somuch that she paid $64,000 for them, despite their $8,000 estimated price. "If you have a piece of jade, the energy goes into the piece and you absorb the energy, so I can feel Elizabeth in the piece," Kim reasoned. "Elizabeth Taylor is iconic. She is my idol and my icon."

Kim might want to start sucking the Liz Taylor power outta those bracelets ASAP, because at least one of her Hollywood peers does not think she's exactly on the fast track to icon status herself.
