J.Lo Anthony spat?

"American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez, 42, and soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony, 43, reportedly had a spat about her boyfriend, Casper Smart, 24. Anthony reportedly refused to tape the next episode of their show  with Lopez.

spat over Scientology is the latest rumored reason for the divorce between Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez.



J-Lo allegedly wanted to send the couple's twins Max and Emme to a special (and probably very expensive) Scientology school, while it seems that Marc was keen on keeping Xenu out of the classroom. If a disagreement over the controversial religion did

Carmen Llwellyn openly blamed Scientology for ruining her life after "My Name is Earl" star Jason Lee introduced her to it. Carmen was married to Jason from 1995 to 2001, during which time she got an inside look into the mysterious celeb-filled world of Scientology. She claims that Jason beat her and forced her to join the cult of crazies, but after she divorced him and dropped the religion, her acting career and reputation were ruined -- she was even stalked by Scientologists trying to scare her. However, if they were trying to intimidate her into not talking about their secretive world, they definitely failed. Carmen has also said that Scientology was the reason behind the divorce of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, who called it quits in 2001. Tom's first wife Mimi Rogers is credited with introducing him to the religion, but his second wife apparently didn't like being labeled a Scientologist. Because of Nicole's reluctance to really get into the religion, members of the church labeled her an S.P. (suppressive person) that Tom needed to divorce. And so he did, replacing her with the less-suppressive (and much-pitied) Katie Holmes.

There were also whispers that SNL actor Fred Armisen divorced "Mad Men" actress Elisabeth Moss last year because of her involvement with Scientology. According to reports, Moss' religion was more important to her than their relationship. However, since 43-year-old Fred didn't waste any time finding comfort in the arms of his 23-year-old SNL costar Abby Elliot after the split, it doesn't look like Elisabeth was the only one getting involved in something that messed up their marriage. So based on these celebrity couples that might have called it quits over Scientology squabbles, it seems very possible that it could have played a part in the demise of the marriage of Marc and J-Lo. Unfortunately for Jen, the pickings are slim when it comes to eligible bachelors that are into the religion, so she better start taking down some conversion tips from Tom. Marc Anthony,
